Feng Shui Your Own Home: Step 1
Lesson 1.1
Complete the Floorplan from the Inside
The most important step you can take in improving the energy of your home is to make sure that you have a complete floorplan. The floorplan is the birds-eye-view (or blueprint) of your home.
A complete shape is a square or a rectangle. If the floorplan of your home is a square or a rectangle... Congratulations! You have already in place the most important part of Feng Shui: completeness.
If you live in a home that does not have a floorplan in the shape of a square or a rectangle you need to complete the shape of your floorplan.
L-shaped or C-shaped homes are considered incomplete and need to be completed. The same applies for homes with irregular shapes.
It is most important to Complete the Floorplan from the Inside.
In the next issue, we will address how to complete the floorplan from the outside.
Take a look at some samples of incomplete floorplan shapes:

WALL THAT CONTAINS THE MAIN ENTRANCE
To complete the floorplan from the inside you need to place a Feng Shui cure on each wall surrounding each segment of the floorplan that is missing.
The Feng Shui cures used for this purpose are:
- A large mirror with no bevels.
- Artwork or photographs that give you the impression that you are looking out a window into the distance (like landscapes).
- The "Horizon" Feng Shui Cure
In this example you can see how the corner on the back right is missing from this room. One wall has been cured by adding a large mirror with no bevels, while the other one has been cured with the long distance perspective image you see at the top of the column to the right of this text.
Notice the sharp corner that is generated at the point where the two walls that have been cured meet. This is a "shar" or "poison arrow" (a feature that generates turbulent energy in your Feng Shui) and it also needs to be cured. I will teach you how to cure this in a future lesson.

CURE TO PLACE ON THE WALL ABOVE A DOOR OR WINDOW RECOMMENDED BY ADVISOR MONICA:
If you already have a window or door on one of the walls, then place the following Horizon Cure on the wall above the window or door:
I searched Amazon.com so you wouldn't have to...
I have searched Amazon.com for Feng Shui correct mirrors that can be used to complete the floorplan. In doing this search I used special filters to make sure no bad Feng Shui mirrors would pop up. (please ignore the context in which you see the mirrors photographed and instead visualize them addressing your Feng Shui need).
If you already have a mirror that is feng shui correct, use what you have, otherwise consider the following:
