Hang one from the ceiling above the beginning of the handrails from the landing.
FRONT DOOR FACING WINDOW.
Hang one from the ceiling at the point that is halfway between the door and the window.
BED OR DESK IN THE PATH OF THE DOOR
Hang one from the ceiling at the point that is halfway between the door and the bed or desk, preferably use a red ribbon.
STAIRCASE POINTING AT FRONT DOOR
Hang one from the ceiling at the center point between the first step and the door.
FRONT DOOR AND BACK DOOR FACING EACH OTHER
Hang one from the ceiling at the point that is halfway between the two doors.
HALLWAYS WHERE TWO DOORS [or door openings]
OR MORE OPEN ONTO THE SAME AREA. Hang one from the center of the hallway.
