Feng Shui takes care of the balance and harmony of our living environments [our dwelling and work places]. There is a larger environment the planet we live in that we need to take care of, and there is also an inner environment our bodies that we need to tend to.
In Feng Shui, each area of life is related to a certain portion of the house. Each life area is also related to one of the five elements: water, wood, fire, earth and metal.
The elements are expressed in the body as follows:
water: kidneys, bladder, bones, ears, hair
wood: liver, gall bladder, muscles, eyes
fire: heart, small intestine, blood vessels
earth: stomach, spleen, body fat, connecting tissues
metal: lungs, large intestine [including the colon], skin, nerves
It is fascinating to learn about the connections between the different parts of the body and the five flavors salt, sour, bitter, sweet and spicy hot. It is wonderful to find out that health conditions can be helped with sounds and colors too. The repression of certain emotions may be affecting certain organs as well, and conversely, learning to express them will release tensions and toxins from those organs.
Some of the materials you will be presented with in this class were given to me by Dr. Susana Kronfeld, a practitioner of Chinese Medicine. They include breathing excercises and clapping rhythms to help harmonize and balance the body.
Learn how conditions in your home may be revealing or giving you warning signals as to what is going on in your body. Learn to program yourself to heal as you improve the energy in your home.
Chinese masters found out a long time ago what are the basic needs for the care of the body. These basic principles will be presented to you in this class.
