What is Money?
Money is a medium of exchange in the form of coins and bank notes.
Coin money has a value in and of itself that if you needed to, you could melt the coins and use the metal to make other utilitarian objects or jewelry.
Paper money has almost no value of its own. The actual value of your dollars is about the same as that of monopoly money. The value of paper money comes from the agreement that it is worth something.
Money in ancient China looked like some agricultural instruments. Farming tools had been used in China as a means of exchange for a long time before the appearance of money because they were items that were in high demand and could easily be traded for other goods, so the first metal "coins" actually had the shapes of blades and shovels, knives and machete-like tools. Later on they made them circular with a square hole in the middle.
A circle in Feng Shui symbolizes heaven and its yang energy, a square inside a circle symbolizes earth and its yin energy. So Western coins have the shape of heaven and traditional Eastern coins the shape of earth.
Interesting fact: traditionally in the West coins were made by a cold [a yin process] method that requires pressing metal with stamps, in the East coins were melted [a yang process] and cast into molds.
A Feng Shui Journey for Money
Today, I am re-visiting Feng Shui Journeys. I did several journeys with people on the list in the past, one for all the life areas but one (the journey for the Center of Good Fortune and Gratitude is still to come). You can check them out on this link.

All my previous Feng Shui Journeys were done with weekly tasks, but my future journeys will have different rhythms, some will have tasks to do every three days or even one small task for every day. For this reason I will not be sending journey messages to the newsletter/tip of the week list but to a Yahoo Group that I have created for this purpose and for the purpose of answering your free questions. You can join the Yahoo Group here:

Today I am giving you the first task in this Feng Shui journey for Money, but to get future tasks you will need to join the FSFUS Professionals Yahoo Group by February 9, when I will be sending the second task. In this group you will not only get the tasks for all future Feng Shui Journeys but you will also have the opportunity to learn from me and from other Feng Shui for Us Practitioners and Teachers.
The Feng Shui for Money Journey is meant to help you clean, heal, and build your relationship towards money.
First Task: Go on a Treasure Hunt
Look into your bags, purses and wallets, your drawers, cabinets and glove compartments, check the spaces in between the cushions and the couch, look underneath furniture and any other place where you might find forgotten coins. Place all these coins in a glass, plastic or ceramic container. Then wait until February 9th to get your second task via the FSFUS Professionals yahoo group.
"You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. This is not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Nelson Mandela, 1994
Feng Shui healing manuals enable me to share with you an essential part of Feng Shui that until now I was only able to share with clients when doing consultations on site or over the phone. Click on the image below to learn more:
