Criteria for Choosing or Selecting the Main Door in Feng Shui

A common question at seminars and lectures and on the website is how should a person choose their main door in order to place the ba-gua map on their floor plan.

Do you want to learn how to choose which door to use as your main door in order to apply the Feng Shui Bagua Map to your floor plan? You've come to the right place, we offer graphics and a video explaining the three most important things to consider to choose the main door.

This is something you'll have to decide by yourself, but answering these three questions may help:

  1. Where do you get your mail?

  2. Where do private delivery services (UPS, FEDEX, etc.) drop off packages?

  3. If you had very important guests, which door would you have them use?

If the answer to any of the above three questions is "the front door" I recommend you consider that your main door, or "mouth of chi."

Once you make a decision as to which is your main door, stick with it.
